Reviewing Elizavecca Cer-100 Collagen Protein Treatment

Do your locks resemble a burned-out, untamed haystack? Are they prone to tangling and knotting? Do you have frayed and split ends? If any of these situations describe you, try incorporating Batana Oil or Elizavecca’s CER-100 Collagen Protein hair treatment for a restorative boost.

Each of the aforementioned categories nicely fits my hair. Years of hair coloring, straightening, and using an improper brush have left my hair resembling a mix of tumbleweed and scarecrow straw. It’s extremely damaged.

While searching for a solution to my dry hair problems, I came upon the Elizavecca Cer-100 treatment. I also considered Batana oil, known for its deep conditioning properties. Both have received positive reviews on Amazon, and as an Elizavecca fan, I decided to give Cer-100 a try. How did it fare?

Packaging

I always adore Korean cosmetics items’ packaging. Products frequently come in adorable cartons, and Cer-100 was no exception! The silly cartoon on the packaging makes me smile, and I like how it translates to the tube. Since the box is so adorable, I felt awful recycling it.

Usage

Spread the cream evenly through your hair after washing and towel-drying it. The product shouldn’t be applied within three to four inches of your roots (more on this in a moment), but I do advise applying more to the ends. Keep the product on your hair for 5 to 20 minutes as directed on the package (I left it on for 20 minutes for the first treatment). I left it on for 15 minutes for my second treatment, and for the subsequent three treatments, I left it on for 10 minutes. Then, rinse the item with lukewarm water before giving it a last rinse in cold water to bring out the shine. The product can be removed with shampoo, however it is not required.

Findings

This is the item I’ve been looking for to control my hair.

When it comes to demonstrating the difference this product made even after the first treatment, the photographs speak for themselves! My hair is smooth and has rejuvenated colour instead of being a damaged mess (it transformed from being a blonde-brown to almost red? My hair is easier to handle because it hasn’t been coloured in a while. My hair still appeared somewhat dry after the first treatment, but it looked better and had more shine after the second. My split ends are less obvious, and my hair actually appears to be wet! What?!

After the initial application, I was concerned about how my hair would turn out. I advise against applying this product on your roots because of this. I coated my hair from root to tip the first time, which left my hair extremely flat. Don’t do this, please. If you don’t worry about the roots, your hair will be fine. The volume at your roots will make up for the fact that your hair may still appear a little flat.

For best results, apply this once per week to your hair. You run the risk of developing a problem other than dry hair if you use this product daily or every other day because the ceramide may make your hair look oily.

Overall

It should be mentioned that the expected outcomes might not be seen right away after the first use. You might still have some flat or dry hair, like I did. Every use, though, improves. If you have hair problems, Cer-100 might be worth a try! It is undoubtedly an inexpensive choice because it costs less than $8.

For me, I noticed that washing my hair the day after using the product made it look better. I had a healthy bounce after, and my hair was still silky soft and shining, but the volume had returned. In light of this, I do advise shampooing your hair a day or two after using the product.

I was really delighted with how well it worked with the natural wave in my hair. I was surprised to see my waves again because I hadn’t seen them in almost two years due to the injury I took. By washing my hair, using the product, and then braiding it overnight, I tried to see if I could reduce the wave in my hair. Neither bounce nor a return to straight hair occurred. My braided waves persisted in my hair all day long, keeping it smooth and frizz-free. The humidity didn’t affect my hair’s shape or texture at all.
