An Evaluation Of Elizavecca Witch Piggy Hell Pore Control Hyaluronic Acid 97% Serum

The Elizavecca Witch Piggy Hell-Pore Control Hyaluronic Acid (97%) is packaged in a beautiful peach-coloured cardboard box with an incredibly adorable image of a witch piggy brewing an evil potion on the front and witch castles on the sides! The box contains all the necessary information about the product, including the list of components, qualities, usage, and warnings, yet most of the text is in Korean!

Inside the box comes a magnificent glass container containing the hyaluronic acid serum; it is gorgeous since it is aesthetically pleasing. The glass bottle is exceedingly strong and nearly indestructible (yay!). fallen twice from my grasp! The bottle comes with a silver metallic dropper that fits neatly on top! Despite being composed of glass, the serum’s packaging is highly portable and travel-friendly!

The serum is a slightly viscous, colourless liquid with a virtually undetectable, but refreshing, aqua-sweet scent (if you know what I mean!). The consistency of the elizavecca cer 100 is neither extremely runny nor extremely thick or sticky… It appears to me to be uniformly coagulated water!

Hyaluronic Acid 97% SerumThe serum is easily spreadable, and three to four drops are sufficient to cover the entire face… Typically, I apply the product to my cheeks, chin, forehead, and nose with my fingertips and then tap it into the skin. While the serum penetrates the skin, the skin may feel slightly tacky to the touch; once fully absorbed, the serum leaves the skin matte and refreshed!

This serum contains 97% hyaluronic acid, a remarkable humectant, i.e., a substance that pulls water into the epidermal layer of the skin, both from the atmosphere and the dermis, making the skin appear smooth, supple, hydrated, and plumped! Hyaluronic acid is merely a polyacrylamide (carbohydrate) that naturally occurs in our bodies, and we are born with high levels of the acid, which decreases with age, leaving our skin dry and sagging… (Do you now understand why newborns’ skin always appears dewy and plump?) Therefore, this serum would be suitable for all skin types, especially sensitive skin, and would replenish the hyaluronic acid content in the skin!

I’ve been using this Elizavecca clean up mask for over 20 days now, and as a lady with combination-oily skin, I find it simpler to use it on its own rather than on top of a moisturizer (as suggested), although I’ve tried it both ways and it’s performed exceptionally well either way!
When used alone as a moisturizer, the acid causes the skin to feel tight or stretched for a few seconds, but when used on top of a moisturizer, it is completely absorbed and even reduces the greasiness left by the cream!

I love how this serum keeps my face looking light, matte, and healthy for a long time…

Regular application of the serum repairs all of the skin’s dry spots and dullness, leaving it soft and supple. It also aids in gently tightening my pores and delaying sebum secretion; however, the difference in pore size is not readily apparent!
I have also observed a steady improvement in my face’s uneven colour… The serum has really evened out my skin tone, mildly brightened my face, and significantly lightened my dark, pigmented spots!

Rome was not created in a single day! Similarly, it takes time for the effects to manifest on the skin, but this serum works!

In comparison to other Korean beauty products, it is relatively inexpensive…

extremely adorable, portable, and drool-worthy package! A lightweight hydrating lotion for combination to oily skin and an excellent hydrating serum for normal to dry skin Regular application makes the skin smooth, supple, and hydrated and restores the skin’s dry and dull areas! With continued use, it gradually evens out skin tone and removes imperfections! Appropriate and safe for all skin types, particularly sensitive skin

This is one of the first hyaluronic acid products I’ve tried, and after two months of regular use, my impressions are mixed. Let’s get into the nitty-gritty! I am in my late 20s and have combination skin. My T-zone and cheeks are normal to oily, while my chin and cheeks are normal to dry. In general, certain foundations, skincare products, and the summertime aggravate the oiliness of my T-zone, but even then it’s just a bit of shine, so I wouldn’t call it oily. Typically, the cheeks and chin are normal to dry (sometimes very dry, especially during the colder months). I am allergic to certain artificial colourants and fragrances in skin care products; typically, my skin becomes itchy and inflamed, and less frequently, a rash develops. I also anticipate a serum to complement my other skincare products. I anticipate a serum to be gentle on the skin and free of irritants and allergens.

Elizavecca product is quite enjoyable, and it does exactly what it claims to do: increase the amount of moisture in the skin and keep it hydrated throughout the day. This product works well with my current skincare products, including my favourite toner, eye cream, and face cream (I previously wrote about my favourite toner, eye cream, and face cream). Currently, I have an excellent skincare routine, and my skin is very hydrated and soothed. However, when I used this serum underneath my Garrison 9 Complex Cream (review here), I noticed that my pores darkened and became more noticeable, even though this cream alone does not cause this problem. I have no acne or allergies. My husband, who has extremely dry skin, used this serum almost daily, but I did not notice a significant improvement in his skin. It did become more hydrated and smooth, but not enough for me to declare that this product has blown us away.

Overall, I was not impressed by this product. It is effective and lives up to its claims, but I believe my skin is not sufficiently dehydrated for me to notice a significant difference. The ingredients are outstanding. Nonetheless, the fact that this serum made my pores more visible when combined with one of my creams suggests that it will not work perfectly with any other face products—which is perfectly acceptable and understandable.
